• Account data — If you sign in, we store your email address and a username you choose. Google Sign-In may provide your name and email from your Google account.
• Game data — For logged-in players, we store game runs, scores (gems), completion time, and guesses to power leaderboards and your profile.
• Authentication cookies — We use session cookies to keep you signed in securely.
• Browser storage — We use local storage and session storage for things like guest game progress, cached world images, and UI preferences. This stays on your device unless you clear it.

You can play as a guest without creating an account. Guest scores are not saved to our servers and do not appear on leaderboards.

• Display your username on public leaderboards
• Keep the service secure and working

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising. Some processing (such as hosting and sign-in) is handled by service providers working on our behalf; they may only use your data to operate the service for us.

Account and leaderboard data is kept while your account exists. If you want your account or data deleted, contact us at the email below. Guest game data in your browser is removed when you clear site data or close your session.

• Play without an account (guest mode)
• Update your username in the app while logged in
• Log out at any time
• Request access to or deletion of your data by emailing us

GT Guessr is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
